Bel Scriba, LLC™ was founded in 1997 by Susan R. Posterro and her mother, Lynne McAtee. Creativity, imagination and innovation have always been an integral part of the spirit of the Bel Scriba™. This spirit also contains the memory of Lynne's mother, and Susan's grandmother, who started this family tradition as being a seamstress during WWII and throughout her life.

Babies and children are also an integral part of the spirit of Bel Scriba. Aside from the memories of Lynne’s own children snuggling with their blankets at bedtime, naptime and when traveling, blankets have always conveyed a universal language of comfort. From this heritage, the Binkeez blanket and Burpeez burp clothe were born. Focus and attention to detail is obvious in the famous Babeez Cake™. Included is the secret ingredient of Lynne’s handmade Binkeez™ and Burpeez™, Bloomseez™ and other fine baby products such as GUND™ baby safe plush animals.
Binkeez™ blankets come in over 18 pattern options, and can be customized with a baby's name and birth date as well as satin binding. The Bloomseez™ line of baby bloomers can also be customized with a baby's name, birth date, christening/baptism date or even a cute saying. The Oneseez™ line are top quality onesies with coordinate Binkeez fabric ties.
Susan and Lynne have been fortunate to provide assistance to impoverished children, NICUs, and children’s charitable foundations through the sale of their Binkeez™ blankets, a portion of which goes toward Binkeez for Comfort™.
We are proud to be collaborating with the Massachusetts March of Dimes and the UMASS NICU to provide each and every NICU parent a Binkeez baby blanket.
In 2011 Binkeez for Comfort™ will be focusing on "gifting forward" special Itsy Bitsy Binkeez™ each month for NICUs across the United States. Bel Scriba is also proud to donate all proceeds from the “Always Be a Princess Babeez Cake” to the Tara Bean Foundation.
