Our daughter, Alexa, received her Binkeez blankie when she was born on July 3, 2001. Since then she has slept with the well loved Binkeez blankie every night.

When she was 3 we thought she lost the blanket. We back tracked the whole day, even to the point of looking in the trash at McDonald's. Needless to say we found it at home the next day inside the trunk of a toy car. There were a lot of tears when she thought she lost it. We even called Susan at home to see if they still had the same fabric to make a new one and overnight in the event the original Binkeez was truly lost.  They were on standby to make the replacement Binkeez and even offered to drive an hour to get it before night night time.

I'm a HUGE fan of Binkeez blankets. After bring my son home from the hospital I discovered he found comfort in being swaddled. I tried several receiving blankets, but my active baby managed to escape from all of them. Then I tried a Binkeez blanket…finally we all had peace. Not only are these blankets the perfect length and width for a receiving blanket, but they are so soft AND durable. I would wrap up my bundle of joy and he was finally content. Now that he is 10 month old we use the Binkeez for many other things. His favorite is the one with the Lion's, Giraffe's and Elephant's which we now call Bo-Bo. This was by far one of the best shower gift's!

I've ordered several Babeez Cakes for friends and family. Everyone who has received one of these Cakes commented on how special all the ingredients were. Susan and Lynne do such a great job personalizing each Cake. That personal touch is something that all of us cherish, but it's hard to find in a baby shower gift, until now. After the birth of my first child, I faced the dilemma of every new mom. I wanted to take my beautiful little girl out into the world and show her everything, but I also wanted to keep her safe. Fortunately, I was lucky to receive a set of Binkeez as a shower gift. Forget the bouncy seat, forget the bottle warmer--the Binkeez were by far my most used baby gift. These blankies were soft, warm and washable, and they gave me a portable barrier between my sweet baby and the rest of the world. Some of the ways we used the binkies come to mind; on the floor at the library, on neighbor's bedspread to protect it from diaper disasters, to give me a little privacy while nursing. Perhaps the most memorable was the night we spent in the ER with an awful tummy bug. Despite being in a cold, noisy hospital, the binky gave us a little piece of home. I can still remember her falling asleep with it wrapped around both of us. All during her baby and toddler years, we kept one in the car, one in the diaper bag and a stash at Grammy's house.
